Pró-Amendoim,
Pro-Peanut.

For 24 years, a commitment
to trust and quality.

Established in 2001 by Abicab, the Pro-Peanut Program aims to promote food safety in peanut-based products. As it completes 24 years, the “Pro-Peanut–Abicab Certified Quality” seal reaffirms its relevance, strengthening the entire production chain and consolidating Brazil as a global reference in the production of safe, high-quality peanuts.

In addition to promoting foods with reliable origin, Pro-Peanut strengthens agribusiness, generates jobs, supports local communities and drives technological innovation in the field. Peanuts, a versatile and nutritious food, are increasingly present on Brazilian tables—reflecting a growing trend of conscious and healthy consumption supported by Abicab.
The Program establishes technical and operational criteria that involve the entire production chain—from cultivation to the final product. Companies that join Pro-Peanut undergo independent audits, rigorous laboratory analyses and periodic inspections.

The Program’s seal represents the industry’s commitment to quality, transparency and public health protection. We currently have 13 participating companies: Amenbra, Bokada, Coplana, DaColônia, Dori, Enova Foods, General Mills, Guimarães, La Ganexa, Malta & Rezende, Maritucs, Santa Helena and Jazam.
