About
Abicab

The Brazilian Chocolate, Peanut and Candy Industry Association – Abicab is an active and representative voice for manufacturers of these segments in Brazil. Founded in 1957, Abicab is a committed and responsible advocate of the sector’s interests.

It represents 92% of the Chocolate sector, 62% of peanut manufacturers and 68% of the confectionary sector, and it has a strategic role in the connection between companies, government and society, working with public policies, regulation and initiatives that directly impact the entire sector.

Our area of work goes beyond institutional representation. We promote responsible consumption, food safety and abidance to the legislation as well as with the strengthening of competition within the Brazilian industry.

With a strong presence inside Brazil and an open-dialogue policy with international entities, Abicab is able to boost innovation, stimulate a modern supply chain and promote sustainable growth. We are a reference entity, committed to the solid and responsible development of this important industry.
