The Brazilian Association of the Chocolate, Peanut and Candy Industry (Abicab) is the active and representative voice of the country’s leading manufacturers in these segments. Founded in 1957, Abicab leads the defense of the sector’s interests with commitment and responsibility.
It represents 92% of the chocolate sector, 62% of the peanut industry and 68% of the candy & gummies market, and plays a strategic role in connecting companies, government and society through joint work on public policies, regulations and initiatives that directly impact the industry.
Our work goes beyond institutional representation. We promote responsible consumption, food safety, compliance with legislation and the strengthening of competitiveness within the Brazilian industry. With a strong presence in Brazil and ongoing dialogue with international organizations, Abicab drives innovation, encourages the modernization of the production chain and promotes sustainable development.
